
Sunita Lakhani, DPM is a board-certified podiatric surgeon and co-founder of Arch Foot & Ankle. She is widely recognized for her expertise in advanced foot and ankle care and for her leadership in overseeing the practice’s team of physicians. Dr. Lakhani ensures that each doctor is supported in providing individualized care, while also guiding the practice to remain at the forefront of podiatric medicine by adopting the latest medical technologies and treatment solutions.
Raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Dr. Lakhani earned her bachelor’s degree from Trinity University in San Antonio before completing her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. She then returned to Houston to complete her surgical residency at St. Joseph Medical Center.
With specialized training in limb salvage, sports medicine, bunion correction, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Lakhani provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of podiatric conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, she is committed to advancing the field of podiatry as an attending physician for the West Houston Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, where she helps train the next generation of surgeons.
